Day 4

GOLF/WHITENESS BEACH/BOWHUNTER ARCHERY

Sporty families can spend the morning enjoying a fun round of golf on the 9-hole Cameron Course at The Nairn Golf Club. If putting is more suitable, try a friendly family competition on The Links, or for non-golfers, a game of tennis at Nairn Sports Club.
Following your round, a short drive on the B9092 to Hilton of Delnies will take you to a track from which you can discover The Secret Beach, or Whiteness Beach as it is properly known. Locals call this The Secret Beach because, though easy to find, it is a little hidden and rarely visited. Walk across the quiet expanse of white sand out to the fisherman’s hut near Whiteness Point. Bring a picnic, as this beautiful isolated spot has no facilities.
Back on the B9092, head towards Ardersier, and follow signs for Bowhunter Archery on the left-hand side. This fun-filled woodland adventure, suitable for children from 8 years and over, provides 3-D targets, including dinosaurs and zombies, hidden in the middle of Balnagowan Woods. After your hunting adventure, head back to Nairn for more family entertainment and take in a show at Nairn Community & Arts Centre, The Little Theatre or live music at the Bandstand Bar.
