Now a Christian Centre, Kilravock Castle remains the ancestral home of the Rose Clan and is an outstanding 15th century example of a Scottish fortified house.
Mary Queen of Scots stayed there briefly in 1562 and Bonnie Prince Charlie dined at the castle prior to the Battle of Culloden. It is also believed the Duke of Cumberland visited the castle on the day of the battle.
